The Craft Fair

. . . is in full flow as I type.
Despite the weather a steady flow of people, and what wonderful stalls.
Santa is still there with a few gifts left to give out.
The stalls fill the main hall and the church room.
Refreshments, from a regular 'cuppa' to mulled 'wine', cakes, pies, samoses.
The stalls offer wonderful rabnge of unique gifts - plates, glass, jewellery, cushions, paperwork and cool decorations, cards.

It is open till Four, (Sat 12 Dec) At the URC. 1 Edwards Lane, NG5 3AA

I took these pictures just before lunch.

Concert: Major Oak Chorus

In Harmony” with The Major Oak Chorus
(Male Voice A Cappella)
    Sat 17th Oct

With great thanks to the Major Oak Chorus, who not only gave a spectacular performance, but also generously donated their fee to our total, that we raised £440.50 (updated figure) for the work of Supporting Rotarians Terry and Val Leivers in India.

That will provide 29 desks and a couple of solar reading lamps
for Sai Vidyarthi School in the slum area of Secunderabad in Hyderabad
where the Rotarians have just provided a building extension.
